Nah, fuck that
Fuck these lil niggas
Fuck these lil dudes

Hey
By the gavel or the gun, nigga
I be creepin like the shadow in the sun, nigga
Be more careful how you pick and choose your words, boy
Cuz I'll have you playin Scrabble with your tongue, nigga

I mostly just wanted to talk about the Scrabble line, but everything before it builds it up quite well, so we're gonna go deep. I also wanted to acknowledge the "red dot" line that comes before this, but it doesn't add much to the overall analysis except that it's fire.

In the first bit, a voice inside Wayne's head is telling him to take it easy, maybe pull some punches and give peace a chance. It could be the voice of his friends, fans, critics, or even himself. Regardless of who's saying it though, Wayne's response is unequivocal. This might just be me, but I really like how he says "nah, fuck that" like there was never even a chance of anything different. Bravado to the brim.

The shadow in the sun line is a great way of emphasizing how imperceptible his moves will be. You don't even realize a shadow might be moving if you watch it. An excellent simile to accompany what comes next.

That Scrabble line is something else though. The simple bit is that Scrabble is all about picking and choosing words, which is what the preceding warning is all about. The crazy bit is how Wayne takes a simple threat, abstracts it into a boardgame, and turns that abstraction back into a concrete and bloody reality with multiple potential meanings. The immediate image (at least for me, I guess) is of a bloody tongue laying on a Scrabble board. In reality, this really has nothing to do with Scrabble at all, and it's all about fucking someone up for saying the wrong thing. There's something about his delivery too that takes the line to another level, especially after the fairly timid internal dialogue about taking it easy on folk. The little "woo" at the end lets you know that even he knows he just spit fire.
