Girl let's make a movie
What's a movie without a shower scene?
Treat my semi like an Emmy
Need some nominees!

Taught me how to count
Before they taught me how to read
I knew all my OGs
Before my ABCs

This is what Mixtape Weezy's all about. Girls, guns, drugs, and just general G shit.

It's usually not hard to guess what kind of movie he's talking about when addressing a female, but in this case the punchline is extra cheeky, and ends up sounding like a pick-up line that only he can pull off. Then he takes it to another level. Maybe I'm wrong, but I guess "semi" can be short for either semi-automatic or semi-erect, but whichever one he's talking about, he's comparing it to an Emmy, and it requires targets like nominees. A classic Wayne setup, and I think he nails the punchline. I actually had to rewind a few times when I first heard it just to parse out what he was saying. Sea anemones? Some numby knees? Some non-standard delivery too. Still fire though.

The second half is all about alluding to the streets and what it's like to grow up in them. Making sure the count is right is definitely more important than reading, and you learn who's who in the zoo a lot quicker than you learn the alphabet. I also think Wayne's basically a magician when it comes to rapping letters (and numbers), or if not a magician he at least makes it sound cooler than most.
