Pick up the phone and call your bluff
Human Growth Hormone, now my pockets all buff

I don't think about the future
It come soon enough
Motherfucker I don't shoot ya
Bitch I shoot ya up

I ain't like these niggas
I don't like these niggas
I just roll another joint
Like Spike Lee, nigga

And I woke up this mornin
Got the coal out my eyes

And then I took a walk outside...

It always seems like there's a specific line that catches my attention, and if I can figure out what the actual message is then the rest of the bar becomes easier to understand. In this case it was the "coal out my eyes" line. I started wondering what the image might be that Wayne was alluding to, and I realized it had to do with diamonds. The question then becomes, are his eyes the diamonds, OR is he removing the coal from his "reality" so that he can see all the diamonds around him, metaphorical or otherwise. Either way seems to work.

The first couplet also serves as a great example of how Wayne goes about his wordplay. He takes a colloquial saying like "call your bluff" and makes it seem like he's literally calling it. Then the HGH line is one example among many of how he lets you visualize the size of his pockets, ie his wallet.

I also like the Spike Lee line. It's almost like a pun I guess, because Spike Lee movies are referred to as joints, so rolling a joint is like shooting a movie. I think these lines are extra fun because they're kind of hard to articulate and explain, but once you understand them they become almost self-evident. Then you're left wondering how he comes up with this shit so consistently.
