I come from Hollygrove I done went Hollywood
I was a match made in Heaven when Hell was a pile of wood

I run through hell with gasoline drawers on
Stop, tell the Devil that God is good

Entrepreneur in a Bentley drop top Azure
Vagina connoisseur out the hood

I come from Hollygrove
Every day Halloween
We shoot yo block up
And just say we shot a scene

This is a robbery
I let the chopper squeeze
Turn you to cottage cheese
Been on my Bs since I was wearin wallabees

Where paparazzi? I need my privacy
Fuck your photography, I react violently
Make sure your camera get my good side of me
Lord!

I really only want to talk about one image, and the rest should speak for itself.

The match made in Heaven line is the cleanest and most evocative thing I've probably ever heard. The big statement here is that Wayne's fire not only predates the fires of Hell, but it was what started them burning in the first place. In proper Wayne style, the same line also paints his divine origins using common idiomatic language, and effectively implies a Fall that resulted in a kind of ultimate devastation.

The following line is something I had to take some time to figure out, because, as it usually turns out, I wasn't hearing it correctly. What he's saying is that even in a situation of archetypal adversity and suffering (his underwear catching fire in hell), he remains grateful for his blessings and potentially thrives in that environment.

Enjoy the heat 🙏
