Faith (2017)
Feds took my gold one
--
And I always have Faith
In my co-nect
Shoot you in your thorax
Leave you lookin like a Kotex
And I'm always half-baked
Sippin slow death
Shinin, puttin these karats in your face
Like a snowman
And I always have Faith

I've been meditating on this for a couple of days now. The best way to put it is that these bars possess a mixture of simplicity and beauty that only Wayne can manage. It also takes an understanding of his methods and mentality to be able to get in his mind and try to catch a glimpse of what he's seeing.
The way he twists the word "connect" reminds me of "ab-domen" from Life of Mr Carter. One reason for doing this is that it's a pseudo-repetition of an earlier line where he uses the word "plug", and breaking up the word "connect" in this way allows both lines to keep a similar rhythm even with a different number of syllables. The other reason is more obvious in that it sets up the rhyme scheme for what comes next. In case it's not clear, what comes next is a hole your chest that leaves you looking like a used feminine hygiene product.
The fact that he describes what he's sipping on as "slow death" is both powerful and telling. It shows that he's aware of the fact that there's a good chance it will kill him one day, but it also makes it plain to see that he won't let the risks stop him. The extra cold bit is that he knows death is coming for him just like it's coming for the one(s) he's talking about. He's Smoking, Sipping, and Shining all at once.
Here is the important bit. Karats for your face, like carrots for a snowman. What karats is he talking about? The golden ones in his luggage. I don't have enough room to explain this further but I don't think I should have to. If this doesn't burn your brain you're not paying enough attention to current events.
