Bars of the Day: The dusty files
Something like an introduction.
Some of you may already be familiar with what I do - I analyze and discuss the things that catch my attention and my interest. This started on the Lil Wayne discord, where I shared my thoughts on select sections of his songs. After going through a little over 100 tracks, life forced me to take a break. While I was active, the people who appreciated my work always encouraged me to keep going, and some even gave me the inspiration to branch out into other topics. Now, just before we kick off 2023, I've decided to launch my own website and blog, so I can dive as deep as I want into whatever I want.
Moving forward, this will be where I publish everything I write. Some of it will still be Bars of the Day type content, and I will continue to crosspost the Wayne ones to the discord. However, I also intend to look at other artists, and talk about music in other long form ways. The posts I made in the past will stay where they are, with one exception, which will likely be the next thing I (re)publish on this site. For those who missed out on my past work, or for those who were there and have some nostalgia for it, I put together a small archive of the snippets I used.
Finally, I intend to write about pretty much anything that interests me, not just music. Right now I'm still figuring out my way around this web design thing, so everything might end up all in one pile, but eventually it'll be sorted and become easier to navigate. Because of this, I also have no schedule yet for how often I'll post. It might be daily, it might be weekly. Again, I'm pretty much starting from scratch here, but eventually I'll figure it out, or get someone to help me. Wish me luck.
