Now I think I'll have me a coffee
With six sugars
In a world full of ass kissers
And dick pullers
I'm tryina walk a straight line
But the line crooked
I'm shootin for the stars
Astronauts dodge bullets

I bought a brand new attitude
The hate is music to my ears
I got my dancing shoes
Sometimes we question shit
That there is no answer to
But I just built a house
On I-Don't-Give-A-Fuck Avenue

I think these bars are the best example I've found so far that can explain why I consider Wayne a personal rolemodel. The whole thing is about disregarding hatred and obstacles on your way to a fulfilling and rich life. I'll try and highlight some of my key takeaways.

Walking a straight line is another way of saying following the rules, and to me it makes sense to think this is a continuation of the previous line where everyone else is a people pleaser of some sort. So, I hear it as "I try to do the right thing, but everyone else has an entirely different idea of what the right thing is." Something like that. It's possible that he's going deeper or aiming at something more specific, and if I figure it out down the line I'll spread the word.

The astronaut line is another good example of him taking a common idiom and relating it to gun violence. Love it.

The dancing shoes line is another good bit of artistry, essentially saying he feeds off the hate while maintaining one big musical metaphor.

The last bit about overthinking shit speaks to me on a deeply personal level, and his suggested solution is something I am fully willing to consider and pursue.
